I have always dreamed of having a little girl. My mom and I were always very close growing up and we are still close to this day. She is my best friend. We share ideas... laugh... joke and tease with each other. Yet she's my rock and is always there for me no matter what.
One thing my mom taught me was to express myself and to be creative. We didn't have a lot of money so mom would whip out her sewing machine and create something. Most of our Halloween costumes were homemade. My hand-me downs revamped... and my hair ties never store bought. Looking back at all the goodies makes me smile. My mom is a genius!!
To this day... she tells me to make something work even if I think it can't. She also reminds me to shop at the "cheap stores" and garage sales.
Just because something is inexpensive doesn't mean its junk!!
Growing up I was into beading... and making jewelry... then I started revamping jeans (Rockies and Wranglers to be exact hahaha) and then the craft bug hit me!! & once you have it, you've got it for life :)
.
Since finding out I was having a daughter, I started creating hair candy. From boutique bows, to korkers, to clips and now on to bigger and better things like facinators (my new love) and headbands!!
I have finally decided to start selling some... Nothing too professional as they are made by me... at my kitchen table, while the kids are busy.
I started a Facebook Page with some product and prices. Once we hit a 150 likes... all "likers" will get 20% off that day!!
Once we get to 300 likes... I will do a {GREAT} GIVEAWAY!!
So what are you waiting for?? Check it out... :)
This picture of my sweet {Alexandra} was not planned... but I couldn't resist sharing.
